Blimey what a pair she has, you wouldn't get many of those in a biscuit tin

Actually the biggest positive about Leeds coming up is that we will see more of EMMA JONES on our TV... I would allow her to pour Thatchers Gold over me any day of the week...

Have had some decent rows with Leeds fans on our way back up to Peterborough over the years.

Only been up there twice. Once was late 90's when we got stuffed and it was fucking freezing and the other was for Winterburn's winner.

Quite a stroll from the station iirc.

From what I remember about Leeds, apart from getting beat is the fucken massive stand. Got vertigo up there.

Bad news we are getting an all black 3rd strip

Re: Dirty Leeds back up after 16 years
I think it's time we had an all-white second strip again, because its visibility gives a team a small advantage. It helped us quite a bit in 1980.

Think it's brilliant they are back... hopefully WBA and Forest... fair swap with Bournemouth and Norwich... be a much more competitive and watchable league next season... lot more spice

I think it is an Argie thing, Maradona can't speak a word of English, you'd think he might have made an effort considering his global status, Pele did.

Spanish/Portugese speaking countries generally don't bother learning English.

Fair point, but I don't remember Tevez staring at the floor all the time

Re: Dirty Leeds back up after 16 years
I suspect Bielsa can speak English and doesn’t want to or as an old dog is happy not to & avoid having to talk to a lot of people.
Seems to be getting his message across

Tevez didnt seem to understand a word of English in all the time he was in England & Aguero isn’t fluent at all after a decade.
Maybe it’s an Argentinian thing.

First time I went I was 15 and ended up going in the under 16s fenced up pen with all the grubby Northern cunts. Nice growing up experience for a kid. Outside the ground was like a war zone. Proper old school footy experience. Those were the days.

He really ought to start speaking English and soon

Watched the Bielsa doc on sky yesterday, fantastic watch. The blokes level to detail and planning is unbelievable. The players all want to run through walls for him. I'd love him at our place, and think him as a man and his style of football would go down an absolute treat here.

Think they will stay up at a canter next season, their only undoing could be his reluctance to use a big squad

Last time I went (about 15 years ago?), we lost, got shut in for ages and I had a brick thrown at me on the way home. It was hillarious when they went down, but I'd rather clubs like Leeds come back up. Elland Road is actually quite a decent old ground too.

Has it Really been that long?

Always remember being at that game where the bent ref sent three west ham off including Ian Wright. Arrogant fans and thought they were world beaters. How the mighty fell.

Cannot wait to see how Biesla gets on next season. Will be brilliant to watch.

We could have had him 5 years ago.

Re: Dirty Leeds back up after 16 years
Vile fans and police. Even worse than Birmingham.

First time there was the 1980 cup semi final replay. They bricked the train windows so our SIX hour journey home was drafty to say the least.

On my next visit I managed to get away from a heroic group of more than ten of them determined to rearrange my face.

Next visit had them throwing coins, some sharpened, from their end behind the goal at the West Ham fans in the stand next to them. When a man with kids drew this to the attention of the police about someone about to lose an eye he was told 'Fuck off you cockney cunt'

Other visits in the same vein.

16 years not long enough.
